Welcome to the Queensland Bone Dysplasia Centre!

The Queensland Bone Dysplasica Centre is the brainchild of Dr Andreas Zankl. Dr Zankl is a clinical geneticist with a special interest in bone dysplasias. Since joining Genetic Health Queensland in 2006, he has been working on improving the care of patients with bone dysplasias in Queensland.

Dr Zankl regularly consults on patients with bone dysplasias in his clinics at Genetic Health Queensland (Queensland's statewide clinical genetics service). He has also established a multidisciplinary bone dysplasia clinic in collaboration with orthopaedic surgeons at the Mater Children's Hospital. Click here for more information on these clinics.

Dr Zankl has established a bone dysplasia research group at the University of Queensland's Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR). The bone dysplasia research group studies various aspects of bone dysplasias with clinical, molecular and bioinformatic methods. Click here for more information on our research.
